Who are we?
Actually worthy of this curiosity is that gentle One who stole our hearts long ago: his name is Swamy Ramananda!
It is for us the greatest joy to live the tremendous inspiration he gave us through small initiatives such as this blog. Ok, after the dutiful premise, we're Gian Antonio and Ariele.

Who is Swami Ramananda?
Swamiji was born in South India. As a young boy, he left home as a wandering monk. For many years he practiced severe austerities in the Himalayas. He eventually set in Hariparvat, Kashmir, where he founded a small temple. Persecution against the Hindu community led to the distruction of the temple. Swamiji hailed with some devotees in Delhi as a refugee. He spent the rest of his life in uttermost simplicity, living in a little room in the house of a family of devotees, until he entered Mahasamadhi. He was by then known to a very few people.
Ramananda Swami Philosophy
Vedanta ideals were throughly lived by Swamyji.
Vedanta holds that man, as the whole Universe, is divine end the purpouse of human life is realisation of this divinty. The method chieflly transmitted to us consists in Karma Yoga and a little bit of discipline in the every day life. Swamiji never encouraged a single practice or prayer system for everyone, stressing the unity of purpouses of the different spiritual paths. Accordingly, there is no particular deity presieding over the Ashram.
Accomodation:
In humor, sparkle of truth. Being a family-ashram, we ought not really speak of an Ashram; but let me tell you - accomodation is really Ashramitic!
In fact, there are just bedding facility for 2 people in the guest room, otherwise (and mostly utilised) the "tend and sleeping bed"option as well as the "yoga hall and sleeping bed" one are the chief available options.
